What is a cocktail reception?
A simple way to define a cocktail reception is that there will not be a traditional seated dinner. However, throughout the evening, guests will be offered passed hors d’oeuvres from servers circulating amongst the crowd. There will be food stations as well. So, it’s heavy on the hors d’oeuvres, heavy on the drinks, which leaves room for lots of mingling and lots of dancing! And if you need to take a break, there will be plenty of seating too.
Can I take photos and videos of the ceremony?
The ceremony will be a 100% unplugged moment. We kindly ask that you keep all phones, cameras and all other electronic devices turned off, put away and be fully present during this special time. We have a wonderful photographer capturing this precious moment and we promise to share all the photos with you in the future. You are more than welcome to take all the photos and videos after the ceremony, during the reception.
Is this an indoor or an outdoor event?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
What should I wear?
Come as formal as you’d like! There are not enough events in life that require us to dust off our fancy clothes, so we are making this one of those times. Dress up and be prepared for an evening full of love, fun, and dancing!
Can I bring a date/my kids?
In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guest formally invited on your wedding invitation. Although we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.
